Job summary

Raytheon UK, partnering with hackajob, is seeking an on-site IT professional for a position based in Gloucester. The role involves maintaining the IT estate, patching, user support across laptops and devices, and contributing to IT project milestones, with strong focus on security and governance.

The successful candidate will have experience with JIRA/Confluence administration, PowerShell, and independent on-site work, supported by certifications such as Network+, ITIL 4, or ISO27001.

• Administration of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
• PowerShell script writing and troubleshooting skills.

• Prior experience with working independently on site with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates of the IT estate.
• Conduct regular audits, reports and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support to end users across thin clients, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, onboard, offboard, manage permissions, and access to internal and external systems.
• Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with your IT projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including device setup and recovery.
• Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, printers, and telephony systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on site.

37hr working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site-specific arrangements. Early 1.30pm finish Friday, start your weekend early!
