A leading organization is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join their team. This role involves developing applications that support local churches in tackling poverty worldwide. You'll collaborate with a team of developers, working on critical applications for project monitoring and financial insights. The position offers hybrid working, allowing flexibility while contributing to impactful work. If you have a passion for using your skills to serve others, we encourage you to apply.
Are you an experienced Angular developer who would like to join other Christians in Tearfund's work with local churches around the world tackling poverty?
This role within a team of 13 developers will allow you to use your strong technical experience to serve people living in poverty in more than 50 countries through developing effective applications for designing, monitoring, and evaluating our front-line projects and supporting our finance staff.
This is a key time for the team as we start migrating our project design, monitoring, and evaluation application to Angular. In this role, you will collaborate with other Angular developers, sharing expertise and building an application that enables our staff and local church partners worldwide to showcase the impact of our work in communities.
The team is also responsible for developing and supporting an Angular application critical for finance data entry across the countries we serve. We are interested in leveraging AI to increase productivity, so experience with AI technologies or an interest in learning about them would be advantageous.
While not essential, experience with Power BI would be beneficial as we expand our reporting capabilities, utilizing our SQL Server data warehouse to demonstrate our impact and provide vital financial insights to staff across Tearfund. Our MS Azure integrations enable our data warehouse to combine data from multiple applications, and our developers play a key role in making this data accessible and useful for decision-making.
Poverty is not God's plan; you are. We believe everyone has a part in ending extreme poverty and using our God-given skills to make a difference.
If your skills, experience, and passion align with the above, we would love to hear from you!
This role is eligible for hybrid working, primarily remote with 2 days per month in Tearfund's office in Teddington, SW London (or more if desired).
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on disability, race, color, ethnicity, gender, religion*, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or other protected categories.
*Due to the nature of the work, there is an occupational requirement that the postholder is a practicing Christian under the Equality Act 2010, Part 1, Schedule.
