Systems Design Engineer – Defence Technology
Location: Stevenage | Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite | Salary: Up to £57,000

Your role:

• Lead systems design activities and technical trade studies across the product lifecycle
  
  
• Develop system architectures and ensure traceability, verification, and validation
  
  
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver assurance and certification plans
  
  
• Support capability enhancements through innovative solutions and problem solving
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in systems engineering, including requirements management, system architecture design, interface definition, design assurance, and verification planning
  
  
• Proficiency in Rational DOORS for requirement management and traceability
  
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear engineering documentation
  
  
• Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills
