JOB PURPOSE

To provide underfloor heating and commercial valve estimates, CAD Designs, and material schedules to new and existing customers. To support the growth in sales of UFH systems and commercial valves

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (In no particular order of priority)

Generate UFH designs and quotations for domestic and commercial underfloor heating systems

• Keep UFH library and system updated with new product ranges, prices, and enhancements

• Provide product selections, take-offs and quotations for the commercial valve range of products

• Provide advice to customers on commercial valves application and operation

• Action customer enquiries via various communication channels including phone and email

• Work with and provide support to external Sales Managers and Technical Sales Engineers, helping to build good customer relationships

• Identify and implement opportunities to increase sales of underfloor heating and Reliance Valves

• Work as part of the team to make sure department workflows are actioned in an organized and timely manner

• Use of Salesforce to log and update quotes and job progress

• Identify improvements to products and services offered

• Work with Product Support Manager to identify and complete objectives to aid both team and personal development

• Adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System

• Comply with all current work instructions operable within your area of activity.

• Comply fully with all current health, safety, and environmental regulations in operation within the Company whilst carrying out your duties.

• Carry out any reasonable task which fall within your capabilities.

Personal Profile

• Proficiency in HVAC design and engineering principles

• Expertise in underfloor heating system design and layout

• Strong knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics .

• Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD and Salesforce

• Experience in creating detailed technical drawings and specifications

• Problem solving skills to trouble shoot design issues and propose solutions

• Project management abilities to handle multiple projects concurrently

• Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients

• Adaptability to handle changing project priorities and requirements

• Proactive attitude in identifying potential design and product improvements

• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and manage workloads

• Positive and professional demeanor in all interactions
