Job summary
SC Engineering Group is recruiting a Systems & Controls Engineer to support the design, integration and development of industrial automation and test systems.
This role suits engineers with experience across systems engineering, PLC programming and electrical integration within industrial, automation, aerospace or test environments.
You will design, develop and optimize control systems, work with Bosch Rexroth PLCs, and use MATLAB/Simulink for modelling and performance analysis.
Qualifications
- Experience in systems engineering for industrial automation or aerospace/test environments.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and BOMs.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and Bosch Rexroth platforms.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modelling and simulation.
- Understanding of UKCA/CE marking and EMC compliance.
- Experience in data acquisition system design.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and integrate control systems for automation and test applications.
- Develop and modify PLC software on Bosch Rexroth platforms.
- Use MATLAB/Simulink for modelling and analysis.
- Perform PID tuning and optimisation of control loops.
- Design and integrate data acquisition systems, sensors and actuators.
- Review electrical schematics and BOMs.
- Support compliance and documentation, reports.
