Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) IT Support specialist at Band 6. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with participation in an out-of-hours on-call pattern to maintain the Winpath laboratory system.
You will work under the Biochemistry/LIMS IT structure, ensuring system continuity, data integrity and user support across the NHS Blood Sciences laboratories at John Radcliffe and affiliated sites.

To maintain and develop systems and applications within the Blood sciences Laboratories under the guidance of the Biochemistry Laboratory Manager and Senior Analyst/Programmer.
Members of the LIMS IT Support team provide user and system support, covering the diagnostic laboratories of OUH. Liaising further afield with colleagues across the South 4 Pathology Partnership. The post holder will play a supporting role within the structure to ensure service continuity and development.
The post-holders will be self-motivated team players with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a methodical approach to tasks. As members of the team, they will demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
