The Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly team of system administrators working to process position and hierarchy-related changes in My Oracle. You will collaborate with other teams across ECC and interact with customers to resolve self-serve and other issues.

The Opportunity

The HR Systems Officer will handle complex processing and manage simple projects related to system performance and development on HR systems. Customer liaison and understanding of business processes are key, ensuring integrity checks and system processes are completed for seamless service delivery.

The role requires delivering expert knowledge and advice, with good attention to detail and an understanding of how team processes impact end users. Recommendations and improvements to enhance service quality are expected.

Accountabilities
  • Conduct system and data integrity checks and complex processes to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Create and review processes and documentation such as training materials and process maps to improve clarity and practices.
  • Develop innovative solutions to potential issues impacting customer experience or processing cycles.
  • Provide expert knowledge of systems and business processes to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Test and accept test scripts for system changes, depositing all scripts within the library.
  • Collaborate across the team to manage simple projects, assisting with resource planning and system activity comprehension.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects across HR systems, promoting a culture of change and efficiency.
  • Provide timely, fit-for-purpose reports for customers, including developing new reports and business intelligence.

  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, demonstrating a passion for excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain and adapt messaging for different audiences, and communicate complex challenges clearly.
  • Experience with change and incident management processes.

  • Educated to RQF Level 2 (GCSE) in literacy and numeracy, or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience in systems testing.
  • Previous experience with Oracle-based systems.
