Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Systems Accountant for a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. The role is hybrid/remote with travel to London required every two weeks, and offers a salary between £65,000 and £85,000 plus benefits.

The successful candidate will support the implementation of a new pay and bill platform, acting as the link between Finance, Operations and IT. You will map processes, document requirements and ensure controls across the project landscape.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Experience working with ERP, finance or operational systems.
• Good understanding of system integrations, data flows and process controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of a new pay and bill solution and associated system integrations.

• Map and improve finance processes across current and future-state environments.
• Assist with system testing, data migration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Analyse data flows, interfaces and reporting requirements.

• Support the migration from legacy systems and associated process improvements.
• Work closely with finance, operational and technology stakeholders to deliver successful business change initiatives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Accountant to join a large listed organisation undergoinga significant finance systems transformation programme. This role will play a key part in the implementation of a new integrated pay and bill platform, acting as the link between Finance, Operations and IT teams.
