Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Accountant to lead the NetSuite financials administration, governance, and reporting enhancements for a Birmingham-based not-for-profit organisation.

You will oversee a junior member of the team, drive digital transformation, and collaborate with Finance, IT, and external providers to deliver continuous improvement while ensuring robust financial controls and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems role.
• Strong expertise in NetSuite or another ERP finance system.
• Proven experience delivering finance systems enhancements and transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and financial controls.
• Experience improving processes, reporting, and system functionality.
• Ideally experience within the charity, public sector, housing, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• The confidence to influence and engage with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• A collaborative leadership style with experience supporting and developing others.

Responsibilities

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Pension scheme included.
• 12 month Fixed-term contract opportunity in Birmingham.
