Job summary

Core3 | B Corp™ in Bristol is hiring a Finance Systems Accountant to join the finance team. You’ll combine accounting knowledge with technology to improve tools, data quality and finance processes.

You’ll work across finance and technology on system upgrades, reporting enhancements and dashboards, using SQL to analyse data and support decision-making, while strengthening controls and driving wider finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in finance systems, systems accounting or a similar role.
• Experience supporting finance system upgrades, implementations or improvement projects.
• Experience using SQL to query, analyse and interpret financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across both finance and technology teams.
• Able to identify practical opportunities to improve processes and data quality.
• Confident communicating system changes and supporting colleagues through change.

Core3 is delighted to be working with an established organisation in Bristol to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant to join its finance team.

This is an opportunity to join a business investing in how its finance function operates, with a clear focus on better systems, stronger data and more efficient processes. As Finance Systems Accountant, you'll combine your accounting knowledge with technology, helping improve the tools and processes finance teams rely on every day.

You'll work closely with colleagues across finance and technology, giving you plenty of exposure to systems projects, reporting improvements and wider finance change. It's a varied role where you can take ownership, solve problems and see the impact of the improvements you deliver.
