Job description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs as part of AWS, is seeking for System Validation Engineer to help define, shape, and integrate solutions for the next generation of our cloud platforms.

Take part in the development of products within disruptive system architecture. You’ll have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world’s largest Cloud provider, within a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment. Amazon Web Services provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world.

Key job responsibilities
- Design, implement and execute test plans and test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track software and system defects.
- Continuously review and improve quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure product quality.
- Hands-on debugging at lab.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- B.Sc. in Electric Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years experience in software QA testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and debugging tools.
- Strong programming skills in Python/ Bash/ Lua scripting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Integration experience in leading industrial company.
- Knowledge and understanding of server architecture.
- Knowledge and understanding of board design/electrical validation and capability to read/review schematics and layout.
- 5+ years experience in Compute/Embedded system (ARM, x86, AMD) with HW/SW/SoC development and/or integration.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
