About Us:

An opportunity has arisen in an expanding team responsible for validating the external supply chain to ensure successful delivery of parts required for Development programmes in preparation for full-rate Production.

This role requires an individual with experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Project delivery.

The Role:

As an Industrial Validation Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of suppliers and the project Industrial Validation Plan
• Assessing and validating supply chain and supplier capabilities
• Undertaking validation activities such as Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews
• Identifying and mitigating manufacturing and supply chain risks with improvement plans
• Managing and validating manufacturing capability transfer from in-house to suppliers
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Candidate Profile:

• A Manufacturing Engineering professional with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management experience
• Experience in aerospace or defence manufacturing or supplier quality is desirable
• Ability to support suppliers and customers in developing robust manufacturing systems and control plans
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing capability transfer is preferred
• Proficient in validation tools such as Process FMEAs, Measurement System Analysis, and Manufacturing Readiness Level assessments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
