Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer within the Security Engineering Department to ensure product security throughout the life cycle and safeguard IP and customer capabilities. Salary is circa £60,000 with hybrid work (4 days on-site) and British Citizenship clearance requirements.

The role involves designing robust security solutions across hardware, firmware, and software, with opportunities for overtime and flexible working.

Qualifications

Security Engineering domain experience is beneficial but not essential.
Strong Systems Engineering background with attention to detail.
DV clearance or willingness to undergo DV checks is ideal.

Responsibilities

Task package management of activities spanning across engineering teams to deliver a secure solution.
Maximise protective measures without compromising safety or customer winning capability.
Prepare and maintain a robust security case with UK Customer and advisors.
Oversee systems design across hardware, firmware, software for a secure solution.
Coordinate with manufacturing and support to maintain confidentiality and integrity of the system.
Ensure Need to Know controls over information release to suppliers and customers.
