Job summary

Futura Design Ltd is seeking a System Integration Project Planner Lead Engineer for an OEM client based in Gaydon. This contract role (Inside IR35) requires maturity in coordinating features across vehicle programmes and ensuring readiness for gateways and sign-off.

Umbrella pay rate is £35.80 per hour. The role translates programme requirements into time-based delivery targets, manages risks, tracks KPIs, and communicates status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle across definition, architecture, requirements, design reviews, integration and acceptance.
• Demonstrated experience of technical analysis and best-in-class engineering processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence delivery teams.
• Ability to interpret technical data alongside business needs and make decisions including risk.
• Good working knowledge of Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely delivery of vehicle features and remove integration risks and blockers.
• Align engineering domain delivery plans with programme milestones.
• Drive resolution of cross-functional integration issues.
• Collaborate with programme planners and Core VE teams to align plans.
• Identify and communicate dependencies, risks and delivery glide paths.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and reporting.
