BAM Site Solutions are looking to recruit a System & Data Analyst to take on a dual role as both a system administrator and a data analyst.

As a System Administrator, you will support the business with digital systems by assisting users, resolving system queries, identifying areas for improvement, and aiding in the implementation of new modules or enhancements.

As a Data Analyst, you will develop, design, and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, based on-site in Wellingborough.

Your mission

1. Collaborate with system users and respond to queries and issues.
2. Resolve system issues, escalate as needed.
3. Understand reporting needs through stakeholder engagement.
4. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in IBM Cognos and Power BI.
5. Evaluate systems and processes for improvements.
6. Track change requests and report progress.
7. Support end-users with system training and best practices.
8. Create training materials and guides.
9. Conduct system testing and maintain documentation.
10. Ensure data accuracy and develop data quality frameworks.
11. Automate data collection and reporting processes.
12. Collaborate across functions and coordinate meetings/workshops.

Accountable for system improvement activities, providing business insights, supporting end-users, and reporting on initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining dashboards.
• Strong systems analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and knowledge of SQL, database management, API integration, or IBM Cognos is a plus.
• Understanding of file formats: CSV, XML, JSON.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex data clearly.
