Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Application Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of our software applications and systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that the system applications are aligned with business objectives, support operational efficiency, and enhance user experience. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and oversee the performance, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of system applications to improve efficiency and usability.
• Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between internal end-users and external support teams like SAP consultant, etc.
• Lead end-to-end project management for system application initiatives, from planning and design to execution and documentation.
• Enhance and optimize existing system applications and integration with other systems.
• Maintain a deep understanding of business needs and translate them into system requirements and enhancements.
• Ensure high system visibility by providing regular reports and updates to stakeholders on system performance, issues, and planned improvements.
• Manage data capture and CRM integration.
• Integrate Point of Sale (POS) systems with UrVenue for seamless transaction processing and enhanced operational efficiency.
• Develop and oversee SaaS product budgets.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize their understanding and use of applications.
• Ensure that applications comply with relevant regulations and security policies.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software applications, databases, operating systems and networking, with a focus on POS systems and SAP Build by Design systems.
• Deep integration principles and experience with various integration methods (APIs, web services, etc.).
• Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g., Java, SQL, Python) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Zapier.
• Familiarity with SaaS product and budgeting.
