Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location:

Peterborough, United Kingdom

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from across the Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries related to our Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge in Workday.

This role is part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancement of Workday solutions. The team will grow as we further deploy and expand our Workday finance system.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage Workday finance system configuration and optimisation across the business.
• Support Workday finance users on a daily basis.
• Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Maintain and administer Workday finance.
• Support configuration changes, review new system features, and support delivery.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand their requirements and challenges.
• Create documentation to ensure successful adoption of system changes.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and finance business processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience in a Workday finance support role.
• Experience working with an international organization.
• Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing security measures within Workday.
• Technical background covering multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.

• Ability to quickly learn new technical areas.
