Job description

Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location: London

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The purpose of this role is:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from the Finance and P2P teams via Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries related to our Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.

You will be a member of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancements for Workday solutions, supporting and expanding our Workday finance deployment.

Key Accountabilities

1. Manage the configuration and optimisation of the Workday finance system across the business.
2. Support daily operations and support users of Workday finance.
3. Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and integrations.
4. Administer and maintain the Workday finance system.
5. Support configuration changes and review new system features.
6. Provide technical and functional support for finance business processes.
7. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements and challenges.
8. Create documentation to facilitate system change adoption.

Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or related field.
2. Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
3. Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
4. Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
5. At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
6. Experience in a Workday finance support role.
7. Experience working in an international organization.
8. Understanding of data security principles and implementing security within Workday.
9. Technical background covering multiple technologies.
10. Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
11. Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to quickly learn new technical areas.
