Job Role: System Analyst - Workday Finance

Location:

Watford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

The Workday finance administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance and Adaptive Planning, including responding to tickets raised from Finance and P2P teams on Easyvista.

You will build relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues to understand and resolve their queries related to the Workday system.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Workday (or other ERP systems) and eager to deepen their knowledge of Workday.

You will be part of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancement of Workday solutions. This role will evolve as the deployment and expansion of Workday finance progresses.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage the Workday finance system configuration and optimization across the business.
• Support Workday finance users daily.
• Document system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Administer and maintain Workday finance.
• Support configuration changes and review new system features.
• Provide technical and functional support for finance processes.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements.
• Create documentation to facilitate system change adoption.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with Workday administration, configuration, and optimization (certification is a plus).
• Knowledge of Workday/ERP project processes.
• Understanding of financial systems and processes.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Workday systems.
• Experience in a Workday finance support role.
• Experience working in an international organization.
• Understanding of data security principles within Workday.
• Technical background across multiple technologies.
• Experience in finance and/or IT functions.
• Knowledge of the property sector is a plus.

• Quick learner of new technical areas.
