Ceredigion County Council is offering a two-year System Administrator Apprentice role based at our Aberystwyth office. You will support the HR and Payroll system, assist with configuration, user access and data handling, and help colleagues across the Council.
You will gain a Level 3 Diploma in Digital Infrastructure Engineering through a mix of on-the-job learning, online modules and offsite workshops, with potential travel for training.
Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed. As a System Administrator Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues to support the administration, maintenance and development of the Council's HR and Payroll system, helping colleagues across the organisation while building the knowledge and experience needed for a career in systems administration.
