Job summary

Pear Talent is recruiting a Syndicate Financial Controller for an international insurer based in City of London with hybrid working (1–2 days WFH). You will own end-to-end financial reporting for a Lloyd's syndicate, lead statutory statements, US GAAP, and regulatory reporting while shaping the control framework and governance.

Reporting to Group Financial Controller, you will collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, auditors and regulators, driving improvements, SOX controls, and scalable

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and Lloyd's market experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lloyd's regulatory reporting and syndicate accounting.
• Experience producing statutory financial statements and US GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end financial reporting for a Lloyd's syndicate.
• Lead statutory financial statements and US GAAP reporting.
• Deliver Lloyd's, regulatory and Corporate Member reporting.
