  • Own and deliver the financial close timetable across the managing agency and managed syndicates.
  • Deliver the trial balance, supporting analysis and timely review of financial results.
  • Own the non-technical result and associated financial controls.
  • Work closely with Technical Accounting and Regulatory Reporting teams to support accurate and controlled financial reporting.
  • Ensure assets and liabilities are appropriately recognised and measured in accordance with applicable UK GAAP and Solvency UK requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring evidence and responses are delivered on time.
  • Lead Finance projects, process improvements and reporting-acceleration initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance and wider business stakeholders to identify and resolve accounting, reporting and control issues.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Finance risk and control environment.
About You

You will be a fully qualified accountant with relevant post-qualification experience within the Lloyd’s market or a comparable insurance environment.

You should have:

  • Experience covering treasury, liquidity, audit and financial controls.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively to demanding deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
