Job summary

Randstad CPE is hiring an experienced Forward Tipping / Swivel Dumper Driver for an ongoing civil engineering project in Horsham, starting in two weeks. The role guarantees 9 paid hours per day, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays paid at time and a half.

Applicants must hold a CPCS or NPORS card (E endorsement), CSCS card, and full PPE. Right to work in the UK is required. CIS/Umbrella/PAYE payroll options available.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Card OR NPORS Card with E endorsement on the reverse next to the category.
• Valid CSCS Card / Plant Operator ticket.
• Full PPE: steel toe-cap boots, high-vis jacket/vest, hard hat and gloves.
• Proven experience operating swivel dumpers on busy groundworks or civil construction sites.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Safe and competent operation of forward tipping / swivel skip dumpers across site terrain.
• Transporting excavated materials, sub-base, muck, and aggregates to designated storage zones or tipping areas.
• Work in close coordination with 360 excavators, groundworkers, and banksmen.
• Perform daily plant inspections, pre-start checks, and log machine maintenance.
• Assist groundworks teams with light duties when the machine is not in active operation.

Start Date: Tuesday, 17th November 2026 (In 2 Weeks)

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 Paid Hours Per Day

Weekend Work: Optional Saturdays available (5 Paid Hours at Time & a Half / 1.5x)

Pay Rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (dependent on pay type / experience)

About the Role

This is a long-term position guaranteeing 9 paid hours per day Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday morning shifts paid at 1.5x (time and a half) for operatives looking to boost their weekly earnings.

Working Hours & Overtime

• Standard Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 paid hours per day (45 hours/week).
• Weekend Overtime: Optional Saturdays, 5 paid hours at Time & a Half (1.5x).
• Start Date: In 2 weeks (Tuesday, 17th November 2026).
• Duration: Long-term, ongoing contract.
• Reliable weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
