Job summary

3D Personnel LTD is seeking a Groundworker and Dumper Driver for a construction project in East Knoyle, SP3. The role involves operating a forward tipping dumper, digging trenches, moving materials, and assisting with drainage and groundwork operations.

A CSCS card and a forward tipping dumper ticket (CPCS/NPORS) are essential. Candidates should have prior groundworker experience, be reliable, and have valid ID and PPE.

Qualifications

• Must have prior groundworker experience on construction sites.
• Must hold a CSCS card and a Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (CPCS or NPORS).
• Must have valid ID/Passport and full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, boots).
• Must be reliable, hard-working and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forward tipping dumper safely around site.
• Transport materials, soil and aggregates; dig trenches and excavation work.
• Use shovels and hand tools; clear site and vegetation.
• Prepare the ground for foundations and assist drainage work.
• Set up and maintain the construction site and kerbs/driveways as needed.
• Work with site management and other trades to ensure timely completion.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean site.

Job description

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Groundworker / Dumper Driver for a construction project in East Knoyle, SP3.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Operating a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site
• Transporting materials, soil and aggregates across the construction site
• Digging trenches and carrying out excavation work
• Using shovels and other hand tools
• Clearing the site by removing topsoil and anything that may affect the construction process
• Landscaping the site
• Clearing vegetation and carrying out general site clearance
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
• Assisting with drainage installation and groundwork operations
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay foundations
• Setting up and maintaining the construction site
• Laying kerbs, paving and driveways where required
• Working closely with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Performing all other site duties as instructed by the site management team

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card
• Must hold a valid Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket (CPCS or NPORS)
• Must have previous experience working as a Groundworker / Dumper Driver on construction sites
• Must be confident operating site plant safely
• Must be hard-working, reliable and motivated
• Must have valid ID/Passport
• Must have full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis vest and safety boots)
