Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an experienced Swivel Dumper Driver for an ongoing civil engineering project in Horsham, West Sussex. The role runs Monday to Friday with 9 paid hours per day and optional Saturday mornings paid at 1.5x. Start date is 17 November 2026, with a long-term ongoing contract and weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE.

Salary is 17.00–19.00 GBP per hour, dependent on pay type and experience. Must have valid CPCS/NPORS with E endorsement and CSCS card, plus full PPE and right to

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Card OR NPORS Card with E endorsement on reverse.
• Valid CSCS Card / Plant Operator ticket.
• Full PPE: steel toe-cap boots, high-vis, hard hat, gloves.
• Proven experience operating swivel dumpers on groundworks or civil sites.
• Right to work in the UK and commitment to long-term work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forward tipping / swivel dumpers across site terrain.
• Transport excavated materials and aggregates to tipping areas.
• Coordinate with 360 excavators, groundworkers, and banksmen.
• Perform daily plant inspections and pre-start checks; log maintenance.
• Assist groundworks teams with light duties when idle.
