Job summary
Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer for deployment around Swindon. You will perform electrical maintenance across commercial sites, ensuring reliability and safety of electrical systems.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds) in Electrical Installation, AM2, and 18th Edition knowledge, with travel between sites and a company vehicle supplied. Training and development opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified with an NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Electrical Installation.
- AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) certificate.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks.
- Undertake minor installation tasks, including power supply, lighting, and distribution.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, ensuring timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
