Job summary

Serco Limited is recruiting a Swimming Teacher for Whitchurch Leisure Centre. You will deliver safe, progressive swimming lessons to babies and pre-schoolers, following Swim England learn to swim framework, and support swimmers' confidence and enjoyment.

We offer training through our Aquatic Training Academy, DBS and safeguarding checks provided, free centre membership for you (and a friend/family), flexible hours around commitments, and clear progression pathways within Serco Leisure.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with people of all ages/backgrounds.
• Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, fun, progressive swimming lessons for babies and preschool swimmers.
• Follow Swim England learn-to-swim framework to build confidence and progress.
• Be flexible with hours and commit to available teaching slots.
• Assist in DBS checks and safeguarding requirements; benefit from Serco-provided checks.
