Job summary

The Cheltenham Trust is seeking a Swim Instructor for Leisure at Cheltenham. Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons for children and adults of all abilities across the day, including baby classes, evening, midday and weekend slots.

You will oversee assistant instructors, promote a positive image, uphold health and safety, monitor progress, and undertake appropriate training as required.

Qualifications

• Level 1 or 2 Swim England teaching qualification, or STA Qualification for Teaching Swimming

Job description

This Swim Instructor post sits within the swimming team at Leisure at Cheltenham, which The Cheltenham Trust runs as one of the charity's culture and leisure venues in the town. The work centres on planning and delivering structured lessons for children and adults of all abilities, from baby and toddler classes to adult beginners, and overseeing assistant instructors. Lessons run across the day, with evening, midday and weekend-only slots available. A recognised swim teaching qualification at Level 1 or 2 is needed.
