Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher for casual hours, based between the Marina Leisure Centre and Phoenix Leisure Centre. You will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages, ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals.

The role requires Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification and an Enhanced DBS check; you will travel between sites and can progress to permanent opportunities. Training and support are provided, with a welcoming team culture.

Qualifications

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme.
• Communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on progression through the programme.
• Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Ensure learners progress through the programme with support.
• Maintain poolside safety and supervise swimming areas.
