Job summary

Freedom Leisure in Wells is seeking a Swim Teacher to deliver swimming lessons and support learners across ages and abilities. You will work as part of our friendly leisure team, delivering sessions with a focus on safety, progression, and enjoyment.

The role requires a Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification and an Enhanced DBS check. Casual hours are available, with a welcoming, inclusive environment and training provided.

Qualifications

• To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding development and progression.
• Assist in supervising customers in and around the pool to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children and adults as part of the centre's programme.

• Assist in supervision of pool users ensuring safety and discipline.
