Job summary

Freedom Leisure in Wales is seeking Welsh-speaking Swimming Teachers to join our friendly team. You will teach group or individual lessons, delivering high-quality service to customers in a welcoming environment.

The role requires Welsh language skills, DBS check, and Level 2 teaching qualifications are desirable. Training is provided for the best-fit candidate, with flexible hours and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 swimming teacher qualification; training provided for the best candidate.
• Must be able to communicate with children’s parents about development and progression.
• Assist in supervising pool and surrounding areas, ensuring safety and discipline.
• Welsh language is essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s programme, based on qualifications and training.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about development and progression.
• Support supervision of customers in the pool area to ensure safety and order.
