Operating in school and university venues, we deliver a best-in-class learn-to-swim experience in the local community for children aged 3-11. By delivering lessons from the school pool, we can teach high-quality lessons to more children and help prevent the closure of pools across the country. We invest in local school pools and support community swimming initiatives.

There's room for you to join our community of teachers, managers, and leisure personnel. From providing a safe and fun environment for children to swim, to innovating program delivery, and promoting children's health across the UK, our work is impactful. If you're passionate about making a difference, you can connect with our UK network to learn, support, and gain new experiences.

We are seeking an engaging and inspiring individual to work as an Operations Assistant within our industry-leading swimming teaching team, operating at centres across the UK.

Are you an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and patience? Do you have experience working with children and parents? If so, this role might be perfect for you.

In this position, you will support venue operations to ensure our customers enjoy a first-class experience that is clean, warm, and safe throughout their visit. We are looking for someone dynamic, with a keen interest in sport.

Key duties include:

  • Meet and greet customers enthusiastically and check them in
  • Manage smooth entry by checking registers
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Provide lifesaving supervision during lessons
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and warm environment at all times
  • Assist with first aid responses when necessary
  • Adhere to brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • Support Swimming Teachers and the Business Manager
  • Welcome new customers, guide them within the venue, and provide welcome materials
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Address venue and program queries
  • Build relationships with clients
  • Take and respond promptly to inquiries
  • Provide feedback to coordinators regularly
  • Stay informed about company campaigns and events
  • Promote the brand with passion and professionalism
  • Communicate health and safety procedures effectively

Person specification:

  • Ability to swim confidently to at least 2m depth
  • Enthusiastic and confident personality
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to build relationships with clients
  • Experience in customer service roles
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Lifeguard and first aid qualifications are desirable but can be provided

If you are passionate about changing lives through swimming and want to make a difference, join us. Full training and qualifications are provided. We value character and personality—reach out today and start your journey with us!
