Job summary

Nuffield Health Milngavie site is looking for a confident Swim Instructor to provide safe, effective lessons across all ages. You will work on a bank basis, delivering one-to-one or group sessions within the Swim England framework and promoting facility memberships.

Qualifications like SSTQ Level 7 or STA/Swim England Level 2 are required, and a friendly, communicative approach helps you inspire learners while contributing to a supportive team and healthy community.

Responsibilities

• As a Swim Instructor you will engage and inspire swimmers of all ages.
• Deliver one-to-one or group lessons and tailor to learners’ needs.
• Promote memberships by explaining facility benefits.
• Work to help customers be safe, healthy and confident in the pool.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need to have a SSTQ Level 7, STA or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework. You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
