Job summary

Nuffield Health is looking for a confident Swim Instructor to provide safe, effective swimming lessons at one of our fitness sites. You will work on an ad-hoc bank basis, with no set weekly hours, and must hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2.

You will teach one-to-one or group sessions, inspire swimmers of all ages, and promote memberships. A benefits package includes a pension scheme and a discounted gym membership.

Qualifications

• ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification required.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to deliver sessions to varied ages and abilities.

Job description

Up to £18.03 per hour depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you'll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:

• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach
• Have a talent for teaching that meets people's individual needs
