Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES is seeking a Swedish-speaking Apparel Merchandiser to join our international team. Fully remote, you will manage product development from concept to delivery, liaising with licensors, retailers and suppliers across the UK, EU and Far East.

You will handle costings, sampling, artwork approvals and range plans while keeping critical paths up to date. The role requires 3+ years in merchandising or product development in apparel and excellent Swedish communication.

Qualifications

• Fluent Swedish with excellent written and verbal communication.
• At least 3 years' proven experience in a similar Merchandising or Product Development role.
• Experience in apparel/fashion is essential.
• Experience with international retailers or customers is desirable.
• Licensing background would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of garment costings and product development processes.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple products and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Fully computer literate, with Microsoft Office and merchandising systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development, including costings, sampling, artwork and approvals.
• Create and manage range plans tailored to retailers and brands.
• Maintain critical paths to ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise with licensors and manage approvals where required.
• Support Senior Management with administrative and operational tasks.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and label orders (care labels, brand labels, pricing).
• Coordinate lab dips, print strike-offs, bulk fabric submissions and sample approvals.
• Coordinate with shipping/logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain customer records and product information.
• Build relationships with Swedish-speaking customers, UK/EU retailers and Far East suppliers.
• Communicate with major retailers and store groups.
• Support merchandising/product development teams with admin duties.
