Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES in Manchester is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to join a well established textiles company with training and progression opportunities. You will support the merchandising team with the production of reports and general administration duties to improve output and efficiencies.

The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who can manage supplier and customer relationships and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proactive, detail‑oriented individual with strong communication skills.
• Experience supporting merchandising teams with reporting and admin tasks.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Weekly store order and sales data updates to aid forecasting.
• Input data into forecasting systems including stock and sales metrics.
• Process invoices and oversee supplier lead times and deliveries.
• Generate reports and comments on stock availability, out-of-stock risks.
• Maintain open orders and align with suppliers and merchandisers.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure service levels.
• Assist with new launches and visibility online with internal teams.
