Job summary

Supply Team Education Ltd in Swansea is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Nursery, Primary and Secondary pupils. Flexible full-time, part-time and ad-hoc roles are available to fit around your circumstances.

You will work under the guidance of the class teacher, assist with classroom prep, support reading groups, and participate in school trips, with safeguarding protocols in place. DBS and EWC registration are required.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; transferable experience with children considered.

Responsibilities

• To work under the guidance of the class teacher in supporting the pupils;
• Assisting with the preparation of the classroom before each lesson, as well as tidying/collecting workbooks etc at the end;
• Helping with reading groups;
• Working on a one-to-one basis where required;
• Attendance of school trips;
• Being aware of child protection and safeguarding protocols;
• Accompanying pupils whilst out of class;
• Carry out general administrative duties, as directed;
• Help and organise wall displays
