Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Swansea and surrounding areas. You will support students in classrooms, help them engage with learning and make positive progress in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting students in an educational setting (desirable).
• A good understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach.
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students in the classroom, encourage engagement with learning and help pupils make positive progress.
