Job summary

Veolia in Seafield, Edinburgh is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support wastewater processes with planned and reactive mechanical tasks. You’ll complete maintenance across AVSE project sites, report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and collaborate with operations teams to drive capital work interventions.

We expect a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship and dual-skilled capability, with a full driving licence and experience on multi-discipline sites.

Qualifications

Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship.
Qualifications in Mechanical engineering and dual-skilled development.
Full driving licence and multi-discipline site experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver mechanical tasks on a planned and reactive basis for wastewater processes.
Complete planned preventative, planned corrective and reactive maintenance tasks.
Report to Maintenance Supervisor on mechanical/electrical activities.
Provide technical support to senior maintenance and operations teams.
Assist site teams with troubleshooting asset related issues.
Maintain highest onsite Health and Safety standards.
Record data in CMMS and keep asset information up to date.
Collaborate with Seafield, Almond Valley and Esk sites within Scotland PFI.
