Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Seafield (Edinburgh) to deliver mechanical tasks across wastewater processes. 37 hours per week with a salary up to £49k and a company van plus Veolia benefits. You will work on AVSE project across multiple sites and report to the Maintenance Supervisor while maintaining safety and equipment data.

The role offers 25 days leave, pension, health and wellbeing resources, and ongoing training to help you progress.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship.
• Recognised qualifications in Mechanical engineering and dual skilling being beneficial.
• Experience on multi-discipline process sites with engineering focus.
• Hold a Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical tasks on a planned and reactive basis to support safe, efficient wastewater operations.
• Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance and document work orders.
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor on all maintenance activities.
• Provide technical feedback to senior team members to facilitate capital work interventions.
• Assist site teams with trouble-shooting and problem-solving for asset issues.
• Maintain high standards of onsite Health and Safety.
