Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is expanding its platform through acquisitions and has an opportunity for an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You will be self-driven and commercially minded, with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and building relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, with a detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

• 8+ years in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation or similar
• Proactive in deal origination and acquisition execution
• Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
• Experience in small/medium-sized business acquisitions preferred
• Degree educated or higher

This is a role offering a salary of £80,000-£90,000 with a total compensation of approximately £150,000 plus equity. It is a fully remote position, but UK-wide travel will be required to meet clients and prospects.
