Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is growing its platform through acquisition and has an opportunity for an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You will be self-driven and commercial with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and an ability to build relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector through detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

Applicants should have:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation, or similar fields
• Proven proactivity in deal origination and acquisition execution
• Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
• Acquisition experience in the small/medium-sized business market segment (preferred)
• Degree qualification or higher

This role offers a salary of £80,000-£90,000, with a total compensation of approximately £150,000 plus equity. It is a fully remote position, with UK-wide travel required to meet clients and prospects.
