COWI is offering an Engineering Summer Internship 2027 (Electrical) in London. You’ll join the M&E division for hands-on experience, assisting with electrical design calculations, schematics, and layouts while shadowing engineers on client and contractor coordination.

We welcome students pursuing Electrical Engineering or related fields with a strong problem-solving mindset and a genuine interest in infrastructure and energy markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in bachelor’s or master’s in Electrical Engineering or similar (BEng, BSc, Meng, MSc)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Interest in Infrastructure or Energy market

Responsibilities

To give current students a taste of a career in Engineering, we are looking for a Summer Intern to join us M&E division in London. Working on our current projects, you'll have the opportunity to support the team and learn from our Engineers on the day-to-day operations within a consultancy office.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Assist with the preparation of electrical design calculations, schematics, and layouts
• Shadow engineers during coordination with clients, contractors, and other disciplines (e.g. mechanical, structural, architecture)
• Use your academic knowledge of the engineering fundamentals to contribute to our projects
• Gain valuable experience in a global consultancy
