BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting two Construction Managers to join the London Construction segment. You will lead preconstruction activities, secure projects, and oversee on-site delivery with emphasis on safety, schedule and budget.

The role requires directing teams, coordinating subcontractors and managing risks to deliver high-quality, compliant projects. Responsibilities span preconstruction to on-site delivery, including planning, cost control, reporting and stakeholder engagement across

Qualifications

• Experience in managing construction projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to lead tender teams and submissions.
• Strong knowledge of pre-construction processes and procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion including defects liability periods.
• Review project progress against planned deliverables and costs.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and BAM processes.
• Coordinate construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Select equipment and manage inventory.
• Meet contractual performance and delivery conditions.
• Monitor daily progress and report on status.
• Prepare internal and external reports.
• Plan to prevent problems and resolve issues.
• Negotiate terms of agreements and obtain permits.
