Job summary

Viridor is recruiting an Industry Placement student for the Tee Side Valley operations during an exciting construction phase. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Support BREEAM assessments by collecting and managing project evidence and documentation.
• Monitor project compliance against BREEAM requirements and sustainability targets.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, clients and internal teams to gather required information.
• Maintain accurate records, trackers and document control systems.
• Assist with sustainability reporting and preparation of BREEAM submissions.
• Review project information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings and follow up on actions and information requests.
• Provide administrative support to the sustainability and building services teams.
• Research sustainability best practices and emerging industry standards.
• Prepare and contribute to BREEAM assessments, sustainability records and report documentation by collecting, analysing and presenting accurate data.

We have an immediate need for an Industry Placement student to join our Operations at Tee Side Valley at a really exciting construction phase of the project. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support BREEAM assessments by collecting and managing project evidence and documentation.

Wider project team support on an ad hoc basis, including ERSV delivery support.

• Exposure to Building Services is desirable
• Strong interest in sustainability within the construction industry
