Viridor is at the forefront of waste management and resource recovery in the UK, operating the largest network of Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs). We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.
We have an opportunity in Avonmouth for a Day Shift Team Leader to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role will be £65,363 per year , and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

As Day Shift Team Leader, you'll provide leadership and direction to the day operations team and take responsibility for the safe and effective operation of key areas of the facility, including theTipping Hall, IBA Hall and Weighbridge.
Safety will be central to everything you do. You'll act as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP), or work towards achieving SAP status, helping to maintain robust Safe Systems of Work across the facility.

If you don't already hold full SAP authorisation, you'll be expected to work towards achievingSAP status for both LV plant and apparatus and HV authorisations.
