Job summary

Arup in Manchester is offering a six-week Summer Internship for Mechanical Building Services Engineering students. You will join Building Services teams across the UK and gain hands-on experience in building design and sustainability.

You will collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Project Managers to deliver services and learn to use 3D and thermal software. Applicants should be in final or penultimate year of MEng/BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year in MEng/BEng as above.
• Demonstrate passion for building design and sustainability.
• Willingness to learn 3D and thermal software and contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to deliver professional building services.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics, Geotechnical engineers, Surveyors and PMs.
• Develop ideas into designs and learn software tools on real projects.
