Job summary

Arup is recruiting Mechanical Building Services Engineering Summer Students for six-week internships within our Buildings teams in the UK. You will join project teams to deliver professional services while gaining exposure to building design and sustainability.

Ideal candidates are in the final or penultimate year of a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, with a passion for sustainable design and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year studying towards a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.
• Willingness to use 3D/thermal software and develop ideas into designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective and professional services to clients during the 6-week internship.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics, Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
