Arup invites applications for a six-week Mechanical Building Services Summer Internship in Edinburgh. Join our Buildings teams across the UK to gain hands-on experience in sustainable design and building services engineering.

You will work within multidisciplinary project teams and have opportunities to collaborate with Architects, Building Physics and Project Managers. We seek final or penultimate year students pursuing a MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year in MEng/BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• Demonstrate strong motivation and passion for a career in building design.
• STEM minded and eager to learn to use 3D and thermal software, and develop ideas into designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver professional services to clients.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics, Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
• Contribute to building design across a range of commercial, residential, education and healthcare projects.
