Job summary

eTeach UK Limited is seeking a visiting moderator to verify the quality of centres’ practical activity provisions and to ensure documentary requirements are met. You will travel to centres, conduct visits in person, and report findings to the centre and team leader.

Training will be provided, and standardisation activities will be part of your role. The role involves coordinating visits across centres, with around 15 moderation visits per year.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching or assessment experience within the last 3 years.
• Current or previous experience teaching within the UK education system.
• A teaching qualification or a degree related to the assessment subject.
• Be living in the UK.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Confident IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact centres to arrange a visit.
• Visit centres in person and follow up with a report.
• Understand monitoring process and participate in standardisation activities.
• Carry out moderation visits (approximately 15 per year).
• Be prepared for background checks and right-to-work verification.
